Ranganathan street is one of the busiest streets in Chennai city, Tamilnadu, India. It is the most crowded street of Chennai. But later when the civil authorities came requesting for his formal approval to name the street after his name, Mr.Tupil Rangaswamy Iyengar very humbly and religiously requested the officer to name after Lord Ranganatha of Srirangam.
