MICROWAVE VEGETABLE IDLY
Vegetable idly is a healthy breakfast not only for the children but also for the others.If you have plain idly for the breakfast turned it as a vegetable idly for the tiffin.Vegetable idly is another variant of the famous south Indian idly.
Ingredients
Carrot, finely chopped
: 1
Beans, finely chopped
: 100 g
Peas
: 50 g
Idli batter
: 4 cups
Oil
: 1 tsp
Salt
: To taste
Hing
: a little
Mustard
: A few
Green chillies,
: finely chopped
Small glass bowls
: 5 or 6
Method
- In a glass bowl micro high uncovered 1 tsp oil for 2 mins.
- Add hing, mustard and green chillies; microwave uncovered for 1 min.
- Add all the chopped vegetables and micro high covered for 2 mins.
- Add salt and mix this with batter.
- Grease the small glass bowls with some oil.
- Pour 2- 3 tbsp mixture into the each bowl.
- Microwave high covered with paper napkin for 4 mins.
- Let them stand for 5 mins.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney
