VARHADI KHICHADI - MAHARASHTRA 
This is a famous recipe from Maharashtra from the Vidarbha region are especially well known throughout the country.
Ingredients
Rice
: 1 cup
Tuvardal
: 1/3 cup
Garlic pods
: 5-6 nos
Water
: 3 cup
Turmeric powder
: 1/2 tsp
Salt
: To taste
Fried chillies
: 4-5
Fried papads
: 4-5
Fresh garlic tadka

Method
- Soak rice & tuvardal in abowl for 1/2 hour
- Mix crushed garlic, salt, turmeric & cook on high for 10 minutes
- Give a standing time as per your convenience
- Mix the rest with it and serve hot.
