TOMATOES STUFFED WITH PEAS
These Tomatoes Stuffed With Peas are simply delicious ! Try these tomatoes with cheesed peas for your next meal !
Ingredients
Ripe tomatoes
(2 1/2 to 2 3/4 inches in diameter)
(2 1/2 to 2 3/4 inches in diameter)

Cheese Sauce
: 1 cup
(10 ounces) frozen green peas, cooked
: 1 pack
Salt
: 1/2 tsp
Method
- Cut a 1/4-inch slice from top of each tomato. Scoop out center of each tomato leaving 1/4-inch shell. Place upside-down on paper towels to drain.
- Prepare cheese sauce and peas; mix.
- Sprinkle insides of tomatoes with salt. Spoon sauced peas into tomato shells.
- Place tomato shells in an 8-inch square glass baking dish. Cover with waxed paper.
- Cook in microwave oven 3 to 4 minutes at High, or until tomatoes are hot; rotate each tomato one-quarter turn after 2 minutes.
