MICROWAVE SUGAR COOKIES 
A sugar cookie is a cookie made from sugar, flour, butter, eggs, vanilla, and either baking powder or baking soda. Sugar cookies may be formed by hand or rolled and cut into shapes.
Ingredients
Butter
: 3/4 cup
Sugar
: 1 cup
Eggs, beaten
: 2
Vanilla extract
: 1 tsp
Flour
: 2 2/3 cups
Baking powder
: 2 tsp
Salt
: 1/2 tsp
Method
- Soften butter (15 seconds in microwave). Cream butter; gradually add sugar.
- Cream until fluffy; beat in eggs and vanilla. Toss flour, baking powder, and salt to mix; add to creamed mixture and combine well.
- Chill dough 1 hour until firm. Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness.
- Cut in shapes. Arrange 8 cookies in a ring on waxed paper. Cook 2 minutes on HIGH.
