RED/GREEN CAPSICUM WITH CHICK PEA FLOUR
This is one of the popular capsicum recipes, making full advantage of the attractive color presentation along with chick pea flour.
Ingredients
Red/green capsicum in small pieces
: 2 cups
Chick-pea flour
: 1/3 cup
Fennel seeds (optional)
: 2 tsp
Lemon juice
: 1 tsp
Water
: 1/4 cup
For seasoning (tarka)
Oil
: 3 tbsp
For Garnish
Chopped coriander leaves
: 2 tbsp
Method
- In a 2 quart bowl add oil, chick pea flour, cover and microwave for 6 minutes.
- Stir add chopped capsicum, mix masala, fennel seeds, lemon juice, and water. Mix thoroughly cover and microwave and for 5 minutes.Remove mix and cover microwave for 3 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with bread.
