PRAWN - CHICKEN BIRYANI
Biryani is actually originated from Indian cuisine and is usually made from meat of any kind. In this recipe prawns nd chickens are used and hence the name Prawn Chicken Biryani.
Ingredients
Basmati rice(Half cooked)
: 250 grams
Prawn
: 100 grams
Chicken boneless
: 300 grams
Capsicum
: 2
Ginger garlic paste
: 1 tsp
Meat masala
: 1 tsp
Dry coconut powder, roasted
Shredded onions
: 2
Curd
: 1 small cup
Turmeric
: 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder
: 2 tsp
Chilli powder
: 1 tsp
Method
- Heat some oil and add onions.
- After they are browned, add ginger garlic paste and microwave for 30 secs.
- Add prawns and chicken and microwave for five minutes stirring them in between.
- Add water, curds, garam masala, coconut powder, turmeric power, chilli powder, dhania powder.
- Microwave for 10 more minutes on high, stirring them in between.
- Leave it there for ten more minutes.
- Remove and apply some butter on top.
- If the biryani looks dry on the surface, add little water.
- Again microwave for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh dhania and serve.
