PRAWN ANDHRA CURRY Non-Vegetarian-Dish

Prawn Malai Curry it is yumlogical. The coconut milk and green chilli gives the Prawn Malai Curry a two dimensional taste.



Ingredients

Shelled,deveined and washed prawns
: 250 grams
Mustard oil
: 1 Tbsp
Desi ghee(clarified butter)
: 1 Tbsp
Ground to a paste
Grated onion
: 1
Ginger
: 1/2 piece
Cloves garlic
: 6
Green chillies
: 2
Turmeric powder
: 1/2 tsp
Water
: 1 cup
Thick coconut milk
: 1 cup

Prawn Andhra Curry

Method

  • Apply salt to the prawns.
  • Keep for 15 minutes and then wash.
  • Mix with mustard oil and microwave for 3 minutes.
  • Stir and keep aside.
  • Microwave ghee for 30 seconds and mix in the masala.
  • Cover and microwave for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the water and salt and microwave for 5 minutes.
  • Add coconut milk and microwave at 50% power for 10 minutes.
  • Mix in the prawns and microwave for 5 minutes.
