PATRANI MACHI

Ingredients
Boneless fish (cut into 10 small pieces)
: 500 gms
Lemon juice
: 1 tbsp
Salt
: To taste
Red chilli powder
: 1/2 tsp
For Paste
Coriander (dhania)
: 1 bunch
Coconut (grated)
: 1/2
Mint (pudina)
: 1 bunch
Garlic flakes
: 4
Sugar
: 1/2 tsp
Salt and black pepper powder
: To taste
Lemon juice
: 1 tbsp
Banana leaves (for wrapping, cut into small square pieces)
: 2
Method
- Wash the fish and rub lemon juice, salt and red chilli powder on it and keep aside for 15–20 mins.
- Make a fine paste of all the ingredients given above. Rub well over the pieces and refrigerate for an hour.
- Cut the banana leaves into small square pieces (10 pieces).
- Wrap each fillet in the banana leaves and seal with a tooth pick. Microwave at 100% power for 4 – 5 mins in a microwave safe flat dish.
- Allow to stand for 2 mins unwrap serve with lemon slices and salad.
