KIDS BREAD PUDDING
It is a rich, creamy, decadent dessert that has made its way onto the dessert menus of many fine restaurants.
Ingredients
Butter
: 2 tbsp
Eggs
: 2
Milk
: 1 cup
Sugar
: 1/3 cup
Raisins
: 1/4 cup
Vanilla extract
: 1 tsp
Salt
: To taste
Cubed day-old bread
: 1 1/2 cup
Method
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a 1-quart micro-safe casserole, melt butter.
- Add the eggs and beat well. Stir in the milk, sugar, raisins, vanilla and salt. Add the bread cubes and toss to cover completely.
- Stir a few times to help the bread cubes absorb the liquid cook until set. Approximately 20 minutes.
