KEEMA MATAR
Keema matar, a combination of minced meat and green peas, this will be a dish to go with roti and paratha's.
Ingredients
Minced meat (keema)
: 500 gms
Peas
: 200 gms
Onion (finely chopped)
: 200 gms
Tomato puree
: 1 cup
Cumin seeds (jeera)
: 1 tsp
Ginger-garlic paste
: 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder
: 1 tsp
Garam masala powder
: 1 tsp
Curd
: 2 tbsp
Oil
: 1 tbsp
Salt & black pepper powder
: To taste
Method
- In a microwave safe bowl, microwave oil at 100% power for 30 secs.
- Add spices and microwave for 1 min at 100% power.
- Add onion-ginger-garlic paste and microwave for 3 mins at 100% power.
- Mix tomato puree and peas and microwave for 5 mins at 100% power.
- Lastly, add minced meat and curd and microwave (covered) for 3 – 4 mins at 80% power. Stir in between.
- Allow to stand for 5 mins. Serve hot with naan / parantha / chapatti.
