MICROWAVE DIABETIC BISCUITS
Low in calories, high in fiber with high mineral and vitamin content. Good snack for Diabetics. Easy to digest for it is a good light snack.
Ingredients
Medium cooking apple
: 1
Flour
: 2 cups
Baking powder
: 3 tsps
Salt
: 1/2 tsp
Margarine
: 1/4 cup
Skim milk
: 1/2 cup
Method
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt into bowl.
- Cut in shortening thoroughly, until mixture looks like meal.
- Stir in milk. Round up dough on a lightly floured board.
- Knead lightly 20 to 25 times. Roll ½ inch thick.
- Cut with a floured biscuit cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
