BAKED SMALL FISH RECIPE Non-Vegetarian-Dish

Most types of fish can be baked and should retain their shape. This delicious and filling fish dish is quick and easy to make.



Ingredients

(500 mL) of milk
: 2 cups
(2 mL) each salt and dry mustard
: 1/2 tsp
Bay leaf
: 1
(2 mL) thyme
: 1/2 tsp

Method

  • How to make Baked Small FishMix all the ingredients in an 8-inch (20 cm) microwave-safe cake pan.
  • Cut the chosen fish in individual portions.
  • Roll in this mixture and marinate 2 to 3 hours at room temperature.
  • Remove fish from milk and roll into fine bread crumbs until well coated.
  • Butter a microwave-safe dish large enough in which to place your pieces of fish, one next to the other.
  • Pour the following mixture on top: 3 to 4 tablespoons (50 to 60 mL) each of melted butter and lemon juice, using a large spoon to pour some of the mixture onto each piece of coated fish.
  • Microwave at HIGH 4 minutes per pound (500 g).
  • Serve as soon as cooked.
