BABY CORN AND SNOW PEA STIR-FRY
This is a quick, simple yet delicious meal.
Ingredients
Spring onions
: 5
Fresh baby corn cut in half lengthways
(you can substitute one small tin of baby corn)
(you can substitute one small tin of baby corn)
: 1 packet
Garlic
: 1 clove
Ginger
: 1 small piece
Peanut oil
: 3 tbsp
Small handful snow peas
:
Soy sauce
: 2 tbsp
Chilli sauce
: 1 tbsp
Tofu, cut in squares
: 1/2 packet
Method
- Cut the spring onions into short lengths. If you are using fresh baby corn, microwave or steam for a few minutes until cooked.
- Crush or roughly chop the garlic and ginger.
- Heat a wok until very hot, add the peanut oil and the ginger and garlic. Stir, then add the spring onions and snow peas. Cook for a minute before adding the baby corn and the soy and chilli sauce.
