Actor Vishal Krishnan who is commonly known as Vishal in the Tamil cinema industry was born on 29th August 1977. He has appeared primarily in Tamil cinema. Vishal became an actor after working as a stunt assistant with directors in some movies. Vishal has acted in both Tamil and Telugu movies.

His parents are G. K. Ready and Janaki Devi. And his mother tongue is Telugu. He acted in many Tamil cinemas like Chellamae, Satyam, Thoranai, Avon Evan, Vedi, etc.. He has an elder brother and his name is Vikram Krishna, he is also a producer as well as a director. And also he has a sister Aishwarya Krishna.

Vishal thought to work with famous film maker Ram Gopal Varma but due to his parents' refusal he worked in South Indian films as an actor. In that movie he did the role of an energetic income tax officer and a loving husband to actress Remasan. This movie was directed by Gandhi Krishna. The movie gained commercial success. Awards: In the year 2011 for his movie AVAN IVAN he was selected as the best actor and for this he got the Vijay awards for the best actor and he also got the SIIMMA award for the best actor in Tamil. He is one among the most famous actors of South Indian cinema industry and he is also an young and energetic hero of the movie industry and he also earns in crores for his box office hit movies. Vishal entered into the Tamil cinema industry in the year 1989 through the movie Jadikketha Moodi. While working with the director as well as actor Arjun he got a chance to play the leading role in the Tamil movie Chellamae in the role of a protagonist Ragunathan in which actress Remasan acted as his wife and this movie was released in the year 2004. And this movie was a commercial success. But in this movie his visual character was overshadowed by Rasmussen and Bharath. Then his next movie was directed by the director Lingusamy in which he co-starred with actress Meera jasmine and Raj Kiran and the movie name was Sandakozhi. This movie when it was released was a blockbuster and it was also released in Telugu by dubbing and it also gave the same impact. And this movie became a turning point in Vishal's acting career and he was also said that he improved a lot than his Chellamae movie. The success in the film Sandakozhi gave Vishal many opportunities. And among the film journalists he was spoken as the "fast rising action hero". And his next movie was Thimiru , here he again seemed to appear with Reema Sen for the second time which was directed by Sriya Reddy in Tharun Gopi action film. This movie was again a box office hit for visual and it gained commercial victory. Actor Vishal's next movie was Sivappathigaram which was directed by the director Karu pazhaniappan and it also featured Raghuvaran and Mamta Mohandas. Here in this movie he did a political drama role. But this movie became a commercial failure. But it had the best reviews among the people. His next movie Thamirabarani was released in the year 2008 which was directed by Hari and it was a multi-starring family drama in which he acted with the most famous bubbly actor Prabu and another famous actress Manoramma and this movie was a blockbuster one for Vishal and it carried good reports. Then later Vishal got a chance to work in the movie Malaikottai in which he was paired up with the good entertainer Priyamani, in which Vishal got mixed reviews that he improved in this movie than his performance in the movie Sandakozhi. And this movie took Vishal to the highest range making him the stylish hero of the Tamil industry. After that Vishal worked for the movie Satyam in which he took the role of a police officer, and along with it he also did the movie Thoranai in the years 2008 and in 2009. Vishal didn't reproduce much of him along with the character so these two movies were flops. The only movie he did in the year 2010 was "theeradha vilaiyattu pilai" and this movie was a box-office hit. And in that movie he did the role of a playboy and it was one among the comedy movies. Vishal again appeared in the movie Avan Ivan which was made by the most famous leading director Bala. In this movie Vishal acclaimed the total change in his image and he was fully involved in his character during the shooting of that movie. It is said that Vishal got severe eye pain and headache and he also got a severe muscular injury in the shooting sets. And here he gave beautiful body language for this movie and for all his effort he got awards for this movie. This movie also became the greatest hit. And his next film was Vedi, in which again he took the role of a police officer and here he acted with the most famous Bollywood actor Sameera Reddy. it was released in the year 2011 and it was a box office hit. And then he did the Tamil movies Samar and made Gaja raja. Vishal Krishna is the second son for his parents. And his mother tongue his Telugu . His father is the one among the famous leading film producer for Tamil and Telugu films. And he has an elder brother Vikram Krishna who is also a producer and he has got an younger sister, Aishwarya who is a college student doing her degree. And his brother Vikram Krishna married the actress Sriya reddy who played the role in his home production movie Thimiru as the love interest on Vishal. Vishal finished his schooling in Don bosco matriculation higher secondary school. The famous producer Udhayanodhi stalin and his wife Kiruthiga werre his friends during his college life,he maintained good relationship with them. And Vishal still remains as a bachelor searching his life partner and now he his busy with his movies.
