One of the most famous actress in the Tamil cinema industry is Simran Bagga, she was born as Rishibala Naval on 4th April, 1976. She is a famous Indian actress who has predominantly appeared in many Tamil and Telugu movies. She did her first movie in Bollywood and acted in several Hindi films, before acting in the tamil movie V.I.P and the first Telugu film Abbai Gari Pelli in the year 1997. She was also called has "one of Tamil cinema's top female draws" by Rediff.
In the year 1999, actress Simran was featured in Forbes Magazine as the most prolific actress with diverse portfolio from the Indian continent. Then the actress appeared in many commercially successful block buster movies such as Nerrukku Ner , Natpukkaga, Kannedhirey Thondrinal, Aval Varuvala, Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Samarasimha Reddy, Anari No.1, Jodi, Kalisundam Raa, Priyamaanavale, Parthen Rasithen (2000), Nuvvu Vastavani, Narasimha Naidu, Thamizh Panchathantiram, Ramana and New, and she also gained critical praise for her performances in Vaali, Kannathil Muthamittal and Vaaranam Aayiram.

- Actress Simran made her debut movie in the year 1995 in the Hindi movie Sanam Harjai and it was directed by Saawan Kumar. And the director Jaya Bachchan saw her first in the Superhit Muqabla on Doordarshan's Metro channel which was produced by Nimbus TV and Sports and it was directed by Sushil Datta director, who offered her a leading role in the movie called Tere Mere Sapne in Bollywood.
- The actress then acted in many supporting roles in the movies Muqaddar, Angaara and Daadagiri, Bal Bramhachari, Agni Morcha, Gunda Gardi opposite Ayub Khan and Dharmendra. Accordingly she was acting in the kollywood industry and became was a huge star in Tamil and Telugu cinema industry.

- Simran also enjoyed stupendous success in Telugu movie industry as she acted with the superstars of Tollywood industry such as Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh. Her first Telugu movie was Abbai Gari Pelli in the year 1997, in that she acted with Suman which was a flop. After acting in some unsuccessful Telugu movies in the year 1997 and 1998, she got a first blockbuster movie Samarasimha Reddy in which she costarred with Balakrishna in the year 1999. In the year 2000 she acted in Kalisundam Raa with the actor Venkatesh and the movie Nuvvu Vastavani with actor Nagarjuna.
- Both of the movies were blockbusters. And the year 2001 was an unexpected year in her career since her movie Mrigaraju in which she co-starred with the actor Chiranjeevi becoming a flop movie but whereas for the movie Bava Nachadu in which she acted with Nagarjuna and Daddy opposite to the Tollywood star Chiranjeevi become a commercial success for her. But her movie Narasimha Naidu in which she acted with Balakrishna was a huge blockbuster movie. In the year 2002 she acted with the famous actor Balakrishna in the movie Seema Simham and the film gained the box office hit with its great openings.
- This was her only release in the year 2002. And she did the move Seetayya with Harikrishna in the year 2003, And after that she left the industry after her marriage. She made a comeback with her movies Okka Magadu opposite Balakrishna in the year 2008 and John Appa Rao 40 plus. And then she also did her role in the movie Varanam Aiyaram with Surya which was also a blockbuster movie. Simran is now recently doing her television role in Jaya TV for JACKPOT program.
- Simran was born as Rishibal Naval in Mumbai to Ashok Naval and Saradha. Simran has two sisters namely Monal and Jyothi Naval and a brother named Sumith. She finished her schooling from St. Anthony's high school which is in Versova and has also finished her B.Com in Mumbai and was modelling simultaneously during her studies . She knows to speak languages such as Punjabi, Hindi, English, Telugu and Tamil. It is interesting to note that Simran is a trained dancer and she can perform Bharatanatyam and Salsa. She got married to her family childhood friend Deepak Bagga on December 2nd in the year 2003. They have two sons, Adheep and Aadit elder one born in June 2005 and younger child in March 2011.
