Sameera Reddy has set standards and a place for herself in the movie industry. Sameera Reddy was born on 14th December 1982 in Rajamundry, Andhra Pradesh to a Telugu speaking family. Her father is in the transport business while her mother is a homemaker.

She has two sisters, Meghna Reddy and Sushma Reddy who are also well known faces in the showbiz industry. She finished her schooling at Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, Mumbai and graduated from Sydenham College, Mumbai.
