MANGO ACHAAR Vegetarian-Dish

Sweet and sour mango achar which gets ready in minutes. Serve with daal chaval and enjoy it.Mango Achaar is a spicy mix of green mango, chilli, fenugreek, salt and turmeric all mixed with 100% pure sunflower oil. In this form it is known as "red achaar".



Ingredients

Raw mango
: 2
Channa dal
: 3 tsp
Urad dal
: 1 1/2 tsp
Rai
: 2 tsp
A pinch of hing
Jaggary
: 3 tsp
Chilli powder
: 1 1/2 tsp
Salt
: To taste

Mango Achaar

Method

  • Soak rice & tuvardal in abowl for 1/2 hour
  • Mix crushed garlic, salt, turmeric & cook on high for 10 minutes
  • Give a standing time as per your convenience
  • Mix the rest with it and serve hot.
