The Health Economics Association of India (HEAI) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in health economics research in India. HEAI is an affiliate of the International Health Economics Association (HEAI). HEAI mainly aims to achieve multiple objectives of encouraging and strengthening theoretical and empirical economic reasoning into health economics research and policy making. The Health Economics Association of India (HEAI) was established to achieve the multiple objectives of encouraging and strengthening theoretical and empirical economic reasoning into academics and policy-making.

Vision and Mission

The imperative of establishing a society among the health economics community in India is a long felt desire and goal. In order to achieve this goal, the Health Economics Association of India (HEAI) was established .

HEAI is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors and officers. Directors and officers will meet at least twice a year. The board consists of an eminent group of health economists and social scientists from across India.

The HEAI invites health professionals to become a member and strengthen the association to strengthening theoretical and empirical economic reasoning into academics and policy-making. Persons not formally trained in economics are welcome as its aim is to involve all persons interested in this field.
