INDIAN ZINC INDUSTRY AT A GLANCE IN 2012 - 2013 Considering continuous supply of 20,000 tonnes from secondary route and 50,000 tonnes from imports every year about 9 lakh tonnes production are projected with marginal increase from 2012-13 to 2015-16.
The current zinc production capacity of Hindustan Zinc Limited alone is around 9,17,000 tonnes.
