World Mental Health Day is celebrated on the 10th October to highlight the disasters, hidden in the stressful mental condition, which is more painful than physical illness by consulting a doctor and taking medicines, but mental illness is untraceable until and unless it takes severe form. But how funny that the cause of mental illness is in our hands. Mental illness renders a person in a wretched condition, which if not counselled or treated, leads to unhappy and miserable life. A recent WHO study revealed that 90 percent of diseases are psychosomatic.
Mental illness is the root cause of many diseases like blood-pressure, diabetes, headache, chest pain and many more symptoms. These are called psychosomatic diseases. But the questions arise that who has created this mental illness. The answer is, man himself. Human's own living style, being more and more materialistic and over ambitious to the extent, such that peace and happiness vanishes out of our lives. Now-a-days sleeping pills and medicines of depression are readily available in the market.

- Try to find and trace out the reason for the stressful condition and see how the other people handle it.
- Don't take more responsibilities. Do only those jobs which demand and allure you.
- Don't ignore even the small problems, but try to find out the solution.
- Give them to yourself, means for relaxation, exercise and walking.
- Mr.Diet and Mr.Quiet is very helpful for the mental health of a person.
- Spare some time once in a week for entertainment like meeting with friends, watching movies or going outside for a change.
- Positive attitude in every circumstance and challenge.
- Don't hesitate to ask for suggestion of a problem. If it needs, counselling should be taken from a doctor or spiritual person. Thus keeping in mind the above mentioned points, we can enjoy good mental health.
