Rabies is caused by biting of infected dogs, monkeys etc. The celebration of this Day endeavors to incite public interest towards preventing the high incidence of rabies in India. - Wash wounds with soap and water. Then apply an antiseptic cream.
- Assess severity of wounds.
- Apply rabies immunoglobulin.
- Proceed to vaccination
