He must be able to perform under strict deadlines and must be able to prioritize his work and be a self-motivator. Multitudes of organizations worldwide ranging from small firms to multinational companies, employ logistics managers. The organizations may usually range from wholesalers, manufacturers, local government, electricity suppliers, armed forces and charity institutions. The openings for a job in logistics may also extend to freight forwarder, retail managers and marketing executives. Logistics managers may need to work on a rotational basis depending upon the requirements of their respective organization.
