Tata Motors Don’t Want You To Know This!
Tata Motors raised covers off its new Harrier EV at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo held in January 2025. Since then, we have spotted its test mules frequently and it heavily resembled the currently outgoing diesel Harrier.
But, we have now received new test mules which showcase a change in its designing! So, without a further ado, let’s hop on to the upcoming Tata SUV.
Tata is currently geared up to launch its new Harrier.ev and Sierra models in the country. We have already informed you about the design and interiors of these new models.
But the recently spotted test mule of Harrier EV showcases a slight change in the design. The model was spotted testing near the National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX) in Indore.
The SUV was sitting on the chunky aero designed alloy wheels making us believe that it is none other than the Tata Harrier EV.
While the overall silhouette of the new EV model was similar to the currently outgoing diesel Harrier, now it seems Tata might update its rear portion.
This comes just as the spotted model gets a change in the tail light design and the rear quarter panel, which will make it a little bit different from its currently outgoing model.
That said, it is expected Tata might give a fresh set of LED tail lamps to this new model. But, that’s just an expectation!
There are no images showcasing its front profile of this model, but on the front this model will get a closed off grille for being an EV specific and other details similar to its diesel sibling.
That’s all about the design, now let’s move to other things. That said, the new model will be a beast from Tata as it will return a range of 500 km on a single charge. Apart from that, the Harrier.ev will also be offered with a dual-motor setup, enabling the AWD or what they call QWD (Quad Wheel Drive).
Currently the power figures are not yet revealed, but only we know that the motor will push to deliver around 500 Nm torque and we also expect it to produce more than 250 bhp making it one of the powerful SUVs in the country!
