LANXESS at the 3rd Rosefield Conference for Lubricants and Fuels
India, November 15, 2025 - Specialty chemicals company LANXESS presented its wide range of high-performance solutions for the lubricants and fuels industry.
At the 3rd Rosefield Conference for Lubricants and Fuels, held from November 12 to 13, 2025 at NESCO, Goregaon, Mumbai.
LANXESS showcased its more sustainable variant of the established lubricant additive - Additin RC 2515 at the booth.
This new version reduces the PCF by 34% compared to the existing product and more than 80 percent of the raw materials used come from sustainable sources and are verified in accordance with the ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) standard.
The new additive also carries the Scopeblue label of LANXESS which is used to identify products consisting of at least 50% recycled or bio-based raw materials and have a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to conventional products.
With this new product, LANXESS is expanding its portfolio of certified, sustainable products that meet the growing market demand for climate-friendly solutions.
LANXESS offered additives and additive systems, synthetic base fluids, and ready-to-use lubricants which are used in industries like automotive, mechanical engineering, metal processing, shipbuilding, and aviation.
These products are designed to ensure lower friction, reduce wear, protect against corrosion, enable optimum power transmission in hydraulic systems and transmissions, and thus increase the service life of machines.
